Add Actuant as a custom connector in Claude
Connect Actuant to the Claude app (web or desktop) as a custom connector: add the MCP URL, authorize with your Actuant account, and use the audit tools right in a chat.

This is for the Claude app (claude.ai or the desktop app), where connectors are point-and-click. For the Claude Code CLI, use Connect an agent instead.
- 1
Open connector settings
In Claude, go to Settings, then Connectors.
- 2
Add a custom connector
Choose Add custom connector (you may need Developer mode enabled).
- 3
Enter Actuant's details
Name it Actuant and set the URL to https://www.actuant.dev/api/mcp. Add it.
- 4
Authorize
Press Connect. Your browser opens actuant.dev; sign in (or create an account) and approve the consent screen. Claude is now connected.
- 5
Use it in a chat
Start a chat, enable the Actuant connector, and ask it to audit your app's URL. The audit tools run through the connector.
https://www.actuant.dev/api/mcpThere are no API keys to paste. The consent screen names Claude as the client, and the connection is scoped to auditing your apps. Revoke it anytime in Actuant under Settings, Agents & MCP.
If it says authorization failed
Remove the connector, add it again, and complete the browser authorization. If it persists, make sure you're signed in to Actuant in the same browser.
