The launch checklist for AI-built apps

A concrete, prioritised launch checklist for apps built with Lovable, Bolt, v0, Replit, or Cursor — analytics, SEO, AI visibility, social preview, payments — ordered by impact.

Last updated 2026-07-18

You shipped the app. Here's the order to do the launch work in — heaviest-impact first, matching how Actuant weights its audit. Work top to bottom and stop worrying about what you're forgetting.

1. Wire in analytics (do this first)

You can't improve what you can't see. Add PostHog, Plausible, or Vercel Analytics before you drive a single visitor. This is the heaviest check (weight 16) for a reason. See Analytics.

2. Fix your title and meta description

Write a <title> under 60 characters and a description under 155. This is your search result. See Title & description.

3. Let crawlers in

Serve robots.txt and sitemap.xml, then submit the sitemap in Google Search Console. See Search indexing.

4. Publish an llms.txt

Give AI answer engines a clean brief of your app. See AI-search visibility.

5. Add an Open Graph card

Every launch link needs a share card. Add og:title, og:description, and a 1200×630 og:image. See Social preview.

6. Add a payment path

Even a Stripe Payment Link. Demand is the only launch metric that can't be faked. See Payment path.

7. The finishing touches

Then verify with an audit

Run an Actuant audit to confirm every item is actually live and watch your score climb. The audit is the checklist, scored.
